EARTH
A sustainable Earth is the primary focus of our event. HOToberFest has been organized to promote sustainability and conscious choices that help balance the use of our natural resources and promote wellness in life. Through the festival, we raise funds that are donated to support the efforts of non-profit groups that are based in these same beliefs. Our approach to achieve these goals is simple, “make it fun”.
This year’s event will benefit Trees Atlanta and Legacy World Missions.
BEER
Consumer Judged Best Brew Competition – The BEER competition is one of the centerpieces of Atlanta’s Beer Festival HOToberFest. For a single ticket price, participants enter the Beer Garten for a tasting of at least 170+ craft beers from around the world. Participants can also step it up and upgrade to the VIP area and have access at least 50+ additional rare, seasonal and exclusive cask beers, as well as, access to standard beer line up.
MUSIC
Five-Eight is known for their energetic live shows, but has recorded six Compact Discs since 1992. They have toured with REM (fall 2004) and have performed with Cheap Trick, The Ramones, Cracker, and Seven Mary Three. The group is fairly prominent in the Athens/Atlanta market, and headlines an annual mental health benefit concert in Athens. The band came together in 1988 in Athens, GA when The Reasonable Men disbanded.
